Class,
Good afternoon,
There is a new section for our exercise; the InDesign section. I'm posting videos and additional resources. Take advantage of this resource, especially when it comes to printing out your portfolio, a requirement to finish the course.
Thanks.

Class,
Good afternoon,
To those that received a grade letter “D” for your midterm grade, we strongly advise you to speak with your instructor immediately. The result of this grade is due to variable elements, such as missing assignments, excessive absences, and/or poor quality of work. It is imperative that you speak to your instructor to assess the situation as quickly as possible. The letter grade “D” does not mean that this is the final grade, only a “current standing” status in the course. It is your responsibility to follow up on this e-mail so that the correct course of action can be obtained to either turn in the missing work or to work out an appropriate strategy to enhance your grade.
If you are receiving this e-mail and you have a grade letter “D” and wish not to complete the course, you have until March 23rd to drop the course. According to the academic calendar, it says that on MARCH 23rd, “Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech with penalty (counts against drop limit). All drops are the responsibility of the student.”
Please make arrangements with your instructor to make the necessary corrections so that your grade can be adjusted.
Do not attempt to wait till the last minute. You have been contacted via e-mail and blog.
Thanks.

Hi Class,
It has come to my attention that most of you were absent for two reasons; 1. You didn't have the assignment ready, 2. You had a prior engagement. At this point, we are more than halfway through the semester and mid-term grades have been issued. Another e-mail regarding that will follow shortly. For the assignment 5, the few of you that were there can attest to the complexity of the procedures. For those that were NOT there, it is in your best interest to get in touch with your peers. The process development of this assignment will require some time and critical thinking on your part. This said, you will need to spend more than just one day on the assignment. It is imperative that you turn this assignment on the due date when we get back from spring break. The next stage will require your full attention and time.
Any assignments not turned in at this point will be penalized accordingly. The latest assignment (assignment 4), if not turned in as of our last class meeting will respectively loose points (5pts) per school day. Digital submittals for assignment 4 will not be accepted. You must print the assignment. If you have any issues regarding the assignment then it is in your best interest to get in touch with your instructor.
[to my class, I (Rob) will be available for questions and comments 24/7.]
Please take advantage of this time and help when it is needed. Do not attempt to ask questions regarding an assignment the day that it is due. You need to plan accordingly to get the work completed on its due date.
Assignment 5 has been update on the blog. The layout requirement is on the blog. Everything is on this blog.
Thanks.
